Use this page to add a visit to your plan in the FieldKo Atlas app, even when you’re offline. A visit is a planned trip to an account, with the tasks you’ll do there.

Before You Begin

  • You need permission to create visits. If the + button doesn’t show Create Visit, ask your admin to give you permission to create visits.
  • The visit date must be inside one of your active call cycles. A call cycle is a planning period your manager sets up. See Call Cycles.

Start a New Visit

Start from either of these places:
  • The calendar or home screen: Tap +, tap Create Visit, and then pick an account. On the calendar, you drag the account onto a day or time. See Schedule a Visit.
  • The map: On the Visit Map, turn on Nearby Accounts, tap an account, and then tap Create Visit.
After you pick an account, the New Visit screen opens.

Enter the Visit Details

On the New Visit screen, check or change these fields:

Add Tasks

Under Add Task, choose one of these ways to add tasks:
  • Select Individual Tasks: Under Available Tasks, tap the tasks you want. Tasks are grouped. Tap a group to expand it. For survey tasks, tap + Add Survey to pick the survey.
  • Use Visit Template: Choose a Visit Template (a ready-made set of tasks). Its tasks appear under Template Tasks.
If the tasks you pick add up to more time than the visit allows, the app extends Planned End when you save.
Your company might require at least one task for each visit type you choose. If you skip one, you see “Please select at least one task for each visit type: …”

Save the Visit

  • On the New Visit screen, tap Save.
You see “Visit Created.” The visit saves on your device and uploads at your next sync. If you left follow-ups for this account with Next Visit To Do’s, FieldKo adds those tasks to the new visit automatically.

Leave Without Saving

If you change your mind, you can close the form without creating a visit:
  1. On the New Visit screen, tap Cancel.
  2. To discard the new visit, tap Cancel Visit. To keep editing instead, tap Continue.
Cancel Visit here closes the form without creating the visit. It doesn’t affect any other visit.
