Settings let you tailor the FieldKo Atlas app to how you work, from photo size to reminders and map directions. To open them, in the side menu, tap Settings.
Logging out resets every setting on this screen to its default. Settings are stored on your device only. Reset Sync keeps most settings but resets your visit reminder choices. After you log in again or reset sync, come back here and check your settings.

Sync Settings

WiFi Only turns off when the app restarts. If you rely on it, check it after you reopen the app. To learn more about sync, see Understand Offline Work and Sync.

Photos

Max Photo Size controls how much the app compresses photos when you take or pick them. It applies to the camera, the photo library, and Smart Camera. The options are Original (full quality), 0.5 MB, 1 MB (the default), 2 MB, 3 MB, and 5 MB. Smaller photos upload faster on weak connections. Choose Original only if your company needs full-resolution images.

Calendar and Visits

Reminders tell you when you’ve missed a check-in or check-out. The app sends a Check-in missed or Check-out missed notification after a visit’s planned start or end. It waits the number of minutes set in Reminder Delay. For details, see Get Visit Reminders. If the reminder settings are grayed out and show Controlled by your organization, your admin hasn’t turned on mobile visit reminders. To use reminders, ask your admin to turn them on.

Make Sure Reminders Arrive on Android

On Android, 2 extra rows appear in this section:
  • Alarms & reminders permission: Required for reminders when the app is in the background or the device is locked. Tap it, and then allow the permission.
  • Battery optimization (Android): If reminders don’t appear when the app is closed, tap this row, and then turn off battery optimization for FieldKo Atlas.
  • Preferred Maps App: Choose System Default, Apple Maps (iOS only), or Google Maps. The app uses it when you ask for directions to a visit.
  • Transport Mode: Choose Driving, Walking, or Cycling.

Change the App’s Colors

You can choose your own brand, background, and text colors for the app:
  1. On the Settings screen, under Appearance, tap the color you want to change: Primary Brand Color, Secondary Brand Color, App Background, Salesforce Primary, Salesforce Background, or Text Color.
  2. Pick a color from the palette, or enter a hex code under CUSTOM HEX.
  3. Tap Save.
To undo your changes, tap Reset to Default Theme.
The app doesn’t have a dark mode or a language picker. The app uses the language set on your Salesforce user. Text follows your device’s font size, up to 1.3×.
