Core ranging is a check of whether the products an account has agreed to stock are actually on the shelf. If your company tracks quantities, you record those too. Core ranging works offline, and the app uploads it at your next sync.

Open Core Ranging

You can open core ranging in either of these ways:
  • From a visit: On a visit you’ve checked in to, tap Core Ranging in the visit’s actions.
  • From a visit task: Open a task that asks you to do ranging. FieldKo marks the task complete when you save.
The products come from the account’s ranging contracts. If you see “No ranging contracts found”, the account has no contract. Ask your admin to set one up.

Record Ranging

Work through the products on the shelf, and mark each one you find:
1

Choose a Range Type

At the top, use Select Range Type. The app selects the first type automatically.
2

Find Products

Optional: To narrow the list, use Search products or All Categories. To switch between grid and list view, tap the toggle.
3

Mark Products Present

Tap a product or its checkbox to mark it present.
  • If there’s a quantity column, marking a product sets its quantity to 1.
  • Entering a quantity above 0 also marks the product present.
4

Fill In Extra Columns

For numbers, tap the − and + steppers. For text or picklist columns, tap the column and enter a value. To see all of a product’s columns, tap its photo, and then tap Done.
5

Tap Save

You see “Core Ranging saved”.
The app highlights products you’ve changed. If you tap Cancel with unsaved changes, the app asks Discard changes? To stay on the screen, tap Keep Editing.
Saving records every product across all range types, not only the one on screen. If your company shows previous results, the screen opens prefilled with the last ranging captured for the account.
If a yes/no column doesn’t stay changed when you toggle it on the product card, tap the product’s photo to open its detail sheet. Change the value there.
