Find quick answers to the questions reps ask most about the FieldKo Atlas app. If your question isn’t here, see Troubleshooting: Start Here, or email support@fieldko.com.

Visits and Accounts

You receive visits planned for you from the start of last month to the end of your current call cycle, or to the end of next month if that’s later. If you don’t have an active call cycle, no visits sync at all, and no error appears.Ask your manager to check your call cycle and that the visits are assigned to you. Then tap Sync. See Why Some Records Aren’t on Your Device.
You receive accounts you own or are on the account team for. Ask your manager to add you to the account team, and then tap Sync.
The + button appears only if you’re allowed to create visits. If the button is there but you see No Call Cycle., the date isn’t inside a call cycle. See Call Cycles.
If a location error blocks check-in, turn on location for FieldKo Atlas in your device settings. If you’re far from the store, the app asks you to confirm. You can still check in, but the app records your distance.
You might need to finish every task, give a reason with Can’t Do, or add a visit note first. See Check Out.
You can move or delete only Not Started visits. Dragging works only in Week, Weekday, and Day views.
Your admin controls which menu items (such as Visit Map, Photos, Dashboard, and Chatter) and visit actions (such as Place Order or Core Ranging) appear. Some visit actions appear only while you’re checked in. If you think something should be there, ask your admin, and then tap Sync to get the change.

Sync and Photos

Changes upload when you sync. In the side menu, tap Sync, check Pending Changes, and then tap Sync. If the sync still fails, see Fix Sync Errors.
On the Sync screen, turn on Sync Images, and then tap Sync. Background sync doesn’t upload photos.
To get updated records, in the side menu, tap Sync, and then tap Sync on the Sync screen. For changes to layouts, fields, or objects, use Reset Sync. Before you reset, sync until Pending Changes shows 0 records and 0 images. A reset can delete changes that haven’t uploaded.

Settings and Devices

Settings are stored on your device and reset when you log out. WiFi Only also turns off when the app restarts. Check it in Settings after you reopen the app.
The app uses the language set on your Salesforce user. Ask your admin to change it, and then on the Sync screen, tap Sync. Some screens, such as Sync and Settings, are in English only.
No. You can change the app’s colors under Settings → Appearance.
FieldKo data doesn’t transfer through device backups, so finish with the old device first:
  1. On the old device, sync until Pending Changes shows 0 records and 0 images. Logging out deletes anything that hasn’t synced.
  2. On the old device, log out.
  3. Install the app on the new device, and log in.
