As a manager, you plan your team’s visits, give reps the right tasks, and track the results. You do this in Salesforce on your computer. Your reps see your plans in the FieldKo Atlas app after they sync. New to FieldKo? Start with Key Concepts.

Before You Begin

New managers: start with Plan Your Team’s First Week. It’s a guided walkthrough that uses each main manager tool once. Before you start it, complete these steps:
1

Get Access

Ask your Salesforce admin to assign you the FieldKo Manager Permission Set. Without it, you can’t plan visits for other reps.
2

Open the FieldKo App

In Salesforce, click the App Launcher, and then select FieldKo. The tabs mentioned in this guide are in that app, or in the App Launcher under All Items.
3

Check That Your Reps Have Call Cycles

Check that each rep has an active call cycle that covers today. If a rep is missing one, ask your admin to create one. See Call Cycles.
  • A call cycle is the planning period a rep’s visits belong to. Every visit must fall inside an active call cycle for the rep.
  • You can’t plan visits outside a rep’s call cycles.
  • If a rep has no active call cycle that covers today, no visits, tasks, or orders sync to their app.

What You Can Do

How Your Plans Reach Reps

Your plans reach reps through sync, in this order:
  1. You create or change a visit in Salesforce.
  2. The rep syncs the FieldKo Atlas app, or the app syncs automatically in the background.
  3. The visit appears on the rep’s My Visits screen and calendar.
When the rep completes the visit and syncs, you see the results in Salesforce: check-in and check-out times, completed tasks, survey answers, photos, and orders.
If a rep says a visit is missing, check that the visit’s Sales Representative is that rep, its date is inside one of their active call cycles, and the rep has synced since you made the change.

See What Reps See in the App

The rep guide walks through the app screen by screen, starting with Find Your Way Around the App. Use it when you coach a rep or answer their questions.
