# Find Your Way Around the App

> Learn the My Visits home screen, quick actions, and side menu in the FieldKo Atlas app.

Use this page to learn where things are in the FieldKo Atlas app. The app has three main places to start from: the **My Visits** home screen, the quick actions (**+**) button, and the side menu.

## The Home Screen

The home screen is titled **My Visits**. It groups your visits into sections, and each section shows a count.

| Section | What It Shows |
| - | - |
| **Visits in Progress** | Visits you've checked in to that aren't planned for today or tomorrow. This section appears only when you have one. |
| **Today's Visits** | Everything planned for today, including completed and canceled visits. |
| **Tomorrow's Visits** | Everything planned for tomorrow. |
| **Upcoming Visits** | Visits after tomorrow, or visits with no planned date. Completed and canceled visits aren't included. |
| **Overdue Visits** | Visits planned before today that you haven't started, completed, or canceled. The newest appear first. |

Each visit card shows:

* The visit name, account name, and address
* A status pill: **Not Started**, **In Progress**, **Completed**, or **Cancelled**
* The visit type, with a colored dot if your company uses special visit types
* The planned date and time, or **Time TBD**
* A task counter, such as **2/5**, with a green check when every task is done

  **Pulling down on the home screen doesn't sync with Salesforce.** It reloads visits from your device. To get the latest changes from the office, use [Sync](/sync/sync-screen).

A small spinner in the top-right corner means a [background sync](/getting-started/key-concepts) is running. You can keep working.

## Use Quick Actions

Quick actions are shortcuts to common tasks. To open them, tap the **+** button at the bottom right. You see these options:

* **Create Visit**, or one entry for each visit type your company set up, such as **Create Visit for Account**. This option appears only if you're allowed to create visits. See [Create a Visit](/visits/create-visit).
* **View Calendar** opens the [visit calendar](/visits/calendar).
* **Sync Data** opens the [Sync screen](/sync/sync-screen).

If there are more than 5 actions, they open as a grid titled **Actions**.

## Use the Side Menu

To open the side menu, tap **☰** in the top-left corner. Your name and Salesforce username appear at the top.

The bottom of the menu shows the app name and version.

  **Your admin chooses which menu items appear.** If you don't see **Visit Map**, **Photos**, **Dashboard**, or **Chatter**, ask your admin to add the item to your side menu.

On a phone held sideways, the menu hides your name, **Settings**, **Logout**, and the version. To see them, rotate to portrait. Tablets show the full menu in either orientation.

The menu doesn't open other screens while a **Reset Sync** or a sync from the **Sync** screen is running. You see "Please wait for sync to complete on the Sync screen." Wait for the sync to finish, and then open the menu again.
