FieldKo stores its data in Salesforce objects, so you export it with standard Salesforce tools, the same way you export any other Salesforce data. Use this page to find which objects hold visits, survey answers, orders, and photos, and to choose an export method. ## User Permissions Needed | To do this | You need | | - | - | | Export data with the Data Export service | Weekly Data Export permission | | Export data with Data Loader | API Enabled permission, and read access to the objects you export | | Build reports on FieldKo objects | Create and Customize Reports permission, and read access to the objects | ## Where FieldKo Stores Data The following table lists the objects that hold the data reps and managers create. Export the objects you need, and keep their record IDs so you can join related records. | Data | Object | Notes | | - | - | - | | Visits | **Visit** | **Account** and **Call Cycle** link each visit to its account and call cycle. | | Tasks | **Task** | **Visit** links each task to its visit. | | Survey responses | **Task Survey** | One record per survey a rep completes on a task. **Survey** links to the survey. | | Survey answers | **Task Survey Answer** | One record per answer. Key fields: **Answer**, **Question Definition** (the question), **Score Obtained**, **Out of Score**, and **Task Survey**. | | Surveys and questions | **Survey**, **Question**, and **Survey Question** | Survey Question links each question to the surveys that use it. | | Call cycles | **Call Cycle** | One record per planning period for each rep. | | Orders | **FieldKo Order** and **FieldKo Order Line Item** | Each line item belongs to an order. **Visit** links an order to its visit. | | Core ranging | **Ranging** and **Ranging Line Item** | | | Notes and follow-ups | **Visit Note** and **Next Visit ToDo's** | | | Attendance | **Attendance** | One record per rep per day. | | Incidents | **Incident** | | | Pack-outs | **Pack Out** | | | Sync logs | **Sync Detail** | FieldKo deletes older records automatically. See [Sync Details](/admin/support-diagnostics#sync-details). | Data Loader and other export tools list objects and fields by API name; you can match them to these names in Setup > Object Manager. ## Where Photos Are Stored Photos that reps take in the app are stored on the record they belong to, such as a survey answer, visit, account, incident, or pack-out. The format depends on **Enable File** in the **File Configurations** custom setting. See [Photos and Files](/admin/configuration-reference#photos-and-files). | Enable File | Where Photos Are Stored | | - | - | | Off | As attachments, with the record as the parent | | On | As Salesforce Files, linked to the record | For survey answers, FieldKo also records where the photos are: * **Attachment URL** links to one of the answer's photos. * When an answer has more than one photo, **Attachment Ids** or **File Ids** lists their IDs, separated by commas. When **Enable File** is on, you can also link survey answer photos to the visit or account. Turn on **Link Answer Photo to Visit** or **Link Answer Photo to Account** in **File Configurations**. The photos then appear on those records too. ## Export Your Data Choose the export method that fits what you need. As a minimum backup, schedule a regular export with the Data Export service. | Method | Use It To | Learn More | | - | - | - | | Data Export service | Export all your org's data, including FieldKo objects, as CSV files, on demand or on a schedule. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter `Data Export`, and then select **Data Export**. To include photos, select the options to include attachments and Salesforce Files. | [Export Backup Data from Salesforce](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.admin_exportdata.htm\&type=5) in Salesforce Help | | Data Loader | Export selected objects and fields, filtered with a query, for example the survey answers from one quarter. | [Data Loader Guide](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.dataLoader.meta/dataLoader/) | | Reports | Analyze FieldKo data in Salesforce on an ongoing basis, and export report results. | [Track Your Team's Performance](/managers/monitor-your-team) | To analyze FieldKo data in your reporting tool, connect the tool to Salesforce with its standard Salesforce connector, and then select the FieldKo objects in the previous table. Exports contain customer data and photos.
